which deserve special attention: IMPAK
and KOLDMOUNT.
- A multipurpose acrylic material, originally
developed in the 1960’s for sporting mouth
guards, but now enjoying ever-increasing utilization
in night guard, sleep apnea, and bruxism dental
appliances. It is a soft, heat-cured material
which bonds to traditional denture acrylic.
- A unique specimen-mounting material originally
developed in the late 1960’s, widely used
in the base metal, metal can, printed circuit
board, and ceramic capacitor industries. It is
a quick, self-cure material which creates a hard
surface for polishing specimens without risk of
damage.
